It's a bird, it's a plane, no — it's Krypto the Superdog, the Man of Steel's right-hand canine, making an appearance in the upcoming "Superman" movie's teaser trailer on Thursday.

One of the scene stealers to look forward to in James Gunn’s new Superman movie is the Man of Steel’s best friend, that being Krypto the dog. In a moving moment in the trailer, a bloodied Superman who has fallen to a snowy Earth suddenly whistles and out of the blue we see a storm in the distance as Krypto the dog comes to some form of a rescue.
