Jay Johnson and the LSU Tigers are headed to the College World Series for the second time in three years after punching their ticket to Omaha on Sunday. Johnson and Co. took down the West Virginia Mountaineers in Game 2 of the Baton Rouge Super Regional to lock in the program's spot in the College World Series.

His stuff wasn't the sharpest it had been all season against West Virginia but the LSU baseball ace coming out in the sixth inning was no surprise. Johnson's call to the bullpen brought out freshman lefthander Cooper Williams,

Jake Brown hit a home run and had four RBIs, Steven Milam had two doubles and also drove in four runs and LSU beat West Virginia 12-5 on Sunday night to sweep the best-of-three Baton Rouge Super Regional.
