Officials in Rowan County say a flea market in Salisbury sustained some heavy damage from an overnight fire. Fire officials say the fire that started just after 3 a.m. destroyed a portion of the Webb Road Flea Market. Officials with the flea market say the fire broke out in building b of the facility.

The first of the early vendors arriving to set up at the Webb Road Flea Market were stunned to find the market on fire as they came in. About 3:45 a.m. two buildings on the back or left side of the facility were ablaze,
