Jonathan Quick didn’t play Thursday when the New York Rangers lost 3-2 to the Calgary Flames at the Scotiabank Saddledome. But he still made an impact with a classy postgame move. It’s known that Quick was the boyhood idol of Flames rookie goalie Dustin Wolf,

The Rangers’ frustrations from a failed challenge on the Flames’ power-play goal was evident both immediately after the call and later in the game.

By the end of the night, the Flames recorded a total of 49 shots on net. While Igor Shesterkin kept the Rangers in the contest, his heroics weren't enough to save the team. Once again New York was overly reliant on Shesterkin and that’s just not a healthy way to try and win hockey games.
