Andrei Kuzmenko deked backhand and lifted a shot over the blocker of New York goalie Semyon Varlamov in the second round of the shootout before Justin Kirkland shot low glove by Varlamov in the third. Wolf stopped both shooters he faced.

Dustin Wolf made 28 saves in regulation and was perfect on two shots faced in the shootout as the Calgary Flames rallied to a 2-1 victory over the New York Islanders on Tuesday night.

The Flames just recently made the switch to this grouping, and they're expected to go against New York’s first line of Anders Lee, Bo Horvat, and Jean-Gabriel Pageau. The Lee-Horvat-Pageau line ranks in the bottom half of the league among all forward groupings to have played at least 90 minutes together this season.
