The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has spoken out following reports of a mysterious drone threat in New Jersey. In a joint statement with the FBI, they said there is "no evidence" that the reported drone sightings pose a "national security or public safety threat or have a foreign nexus.

The FBI and Department of Homeland Security said they found no evidence to suggest the clusters of drones spotted flying over New Jersey posed any threat to the public, though they provided little other information about the mysterious sightings riling the Garden State.

On 12, John Kirby, the White House’s national security communications adviser commented on the mysterious New Jersey drone sightings and said that the U.S. government has no evidence that drone sightings reported in New Jersey pose a national security or a public safety threat.
