Shawn Davidson allegedly shot his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend in the chest, fired at police, officials said.

A man appeared in court while facing multiple charges on Monday in connection to a shooting on 9 Mile in Eastpointe.

A Detroit man is being held on 18 felony charges after he allegedly disguised himself as a woman and shot his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend and later fired shots at police investigating last week in Eastpointe.

The victim was suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to the hospital and expected to recover, police said.
