The Yankees have made the latest big move of the MLB offseason. According to ESPN's Jeff Passan, New York has traded for Cubs outfielder and first baseman Cody Bellinger. Bellinger is under contract for $27.

The New York Yankees and Chicago Cubs agreed to a trade on Tuesday involving former National League Most Valuable Player Award recipient Cody Bellinger. Bellinger will head to New York along with a chunk of change to help cover his contract, while veteran right-hander Cody Poteet will make his way to Chicago.

The Cubs have traded Cody Bellinger to the Yankees, sources told ESPN's Jeff Passan on Tuesday. Chicago also is sending cash to New York in the deal, which will see right-handed reliever Cody Poteet go from the Yankees to the Cubs.
