The anti-Trump protests in Austin remained peaceful, despite a 'credible threat' that forced a brief evacuation of the Texas Capitol complex.

Dallas police say an estimated 10,000 people attended its event. Large crowds were also seen in Forth Worth, Arlington and Denton. Demonstrators in North Texas and around the country will protest against the Trump administration on Saturday.

Hundreds of protesters marched through Downtown Dallas on Saturday, many holding signs in protest of President Donald Trump's policies.

The Houston demonstration is one of several planned in the region throughout the day and is expected to draw thousands of protesters.
