I went to the Soho Theatre on Dean Street with friends to see ‘My English Persian Kitchen’. The theatre is lovely; full of life while at the same time feeling quite intimate. It must have a capacit… Full review by Voyage59930327821

A small intimate theatre with a busy bar below. The bar is beautifully dimly lit - making for a relaxing environment with a buzzy crowd. The small theatre size means you don't pay top dollar to look… Full review by 846fil

Q:
Buying tickets to a show at the Soho downstairs when I am presented with an option to reserve a premium table but buying a bottle or wine or pitcher of beer in advance. Does anyone know if that is preferrable in order to get a better seat downstairs at the Soho? I would prefer to forego if possible but I might entertain it if it meant I would secure a better seat that way. Any experiences with this? Is it necessary?
A:
No need to pre-book drinks and a table. The area is a little small, but the bar service is good and people don't mind sharing tables. It's all part of being in London to squash up a bit.
