Hi RMReilly - there is lots of accommodation around circular keys - prob a bit more expensive then staying in the city or around darling harbour. We mostly stay at the central railway hotel - its a bit of a walk or bus to circular key but alot more reasonably priced and clean comfortable rooms plus it has underground parking that affordable too. Hope this helps and you have a great time at Vivid.

If you only have one night, then definitely look at the Opera House from the Rocks area,then move to the Museum of Contemporary Art. It will probably then take you the rest of the night to get to Customs House via the road blocks. Give the Botanical Gardens a miss.
