The beach had a few fish, but mostly dead grass./ seaweed. There was a lot of greener grass out further, but no turtles. There is shade and picnic tables. The employees give it a bad review. First: … Full review by June F

It was definitely a long and hot taxi ride to this beach but it’s worth it. The sand is almost white and very is soft in and out of the water. The water was so clear and didn’t have waves so it’s the… Full review by Parker E
Has anyone been to Linquist Beach recently that can share what the current conditions are? We heard that there was damage from storms and the beach was covered with seaweed. Is this true? We're travelling to St. Thomas in November 2021 and were thinking of visiting. I cannot find any recent photos online to determine whether it's worth stopping by or to choose another beach. Can anyone assist/

I'd also recommend Secret Harbor over Lindquist if you want the amenities. If you are brave, and a strong snorkeler, going around the point in either direction has good life at Secret Harbor. Even saw a nurse shark laying up in the rocks about 10 feet deep. Sunday's are the best at Lindquist as one of the locals sets up a floating bar, much fun and local color conversations. Chaise lounge chairs for rent and a few picnic tables available at Lindquist.
Unfortunately our cruise excursion here is booked. I’m guessing it would be fairly easy to get a taxi here, but I’m more concerned with the way back. Anyone know if there are taxis waiting at the beach? Also is it super duper crowded anyway when a bunch of ships are docked?
A:
Safari busses run past the entrance of the beach at reasonable times, just wait, soon come mon. Only $1.00 or you can call VI TAXI via cell. Red Hook is minutes away. See
Is there shady spots? I saw the sign says you can rent a tent for $25. Also, has anyone gotten food close by for lunch? With in walking distance?
A:
Plenty of shady spots. Nothing within walking distance. We typically bring something to eat or hit up Margaritaville down the hill for food but not walking distance.
