A lovely time here with over an hour tour and very informative. This village is in a really beautiful setting with fields and farmlands all around. No photos are allowed inside any of the buildings… Full review by Snorkelweeds

Hi Janet! Since the Shakers are still running an active farm, we ask that dogs be on a leash at all times, away from the farm animals, and with their human. Dogs can not go indoors into the Museum spaces so just be sure that they are always with their human, well protected and loved, of course! :)

Can't suggest any tour people. We relied on GPS and google maps to get around. About an hour drive between Shaker Village and Kennebunk area (we hit some traffic). Shaker village has paid guided tours of the property. Should take no more than 2 hours to see the village.
