Yes, I caught the MyCiTi from Cape Town got off at Llandudno, walked through Llandudno and along to Sandy Bay. I caught the MyCiTi back around 6pm. Some people have claimed that the walk from Llandudno to Sandy Bay along a fairly long path is unsafe, but I didn’t have any problems. It’s probably not the place you would want to be when it gets dark, but there are many places like that all over the world. It’s a lovely beach and was not crowded when I visited in mid October.
