So beautiful and not crowded at all. The water is bright blue with the green cliff backdrops just made for an incredible experience. The coral is pretty much dead, but still many fish to see. Full review by msa23_2000

Sams Tours is well known but we didn't use them for the day-trips. We used Neco Marine for a day trip. At Neco Marine, you can rent the entire boat for $600 + park fees + tour guide + lunch for 8 hours. Probably $800 total from what I recall. They'll take you to the famous spots. The boat is big enough to fit a dozen people so depending on how many people you have in your group, this could be a good deal or not. You can also do a day-snorkeling tour. You can get up close to the islands that you can't reach by boat. We did a 4-day/3 night camping/kayaking tour. I believe Sam's can arrange either of those. But you need to book the camping/kayaking tour sooner than later. It fills up. We rented a car and drove around the island and stopped at certain tourist spots. Driving is not an issue except the steering wheel is on the right side, and you drive on the right side of the road. The handful of beaches are private so you have to pay a fee $5-$10/person. Peleliu is also very interesting, seeing WWII remnants. It's worth going there.

I don't think you can, We got there as part of a dive package. You will need to hire a snorkeling or diving outfit. We use Sam's Dive
