The Palace of Arts is over looking the Danube on it's south east side. The number 2 tram to the Közvágóhíd H stop. The Palace of Arts is a very short 3 minute walk from that stop. You can see the building and with the sign: "Muveszetec Palotaja - Budapest" on it in large lettering to the right side of the tram as you depart. The directions from Bill H are helpful, but they are to visit Budapest Castle, not the Palace of the Arts.
