Hi. I'm seeing reviews from the same date some of which say they couldn't see it because of the refurbishment and others posted pictures of the inside. Is the Cathedral currently closed? If so, is there an estimate of how long it will be closed. We don't go until February and I would love to see it and climb the stairs.

I was there in June and there was scaffolding on the left side of the cathedral as the right side appeared to have been completed. It looked like it could have been open but that may have just been for the workers. The tour group I was in didn't go inside it, we stood in the square in front of it. Our tour went into St Joseph's church which was really nice
