We travelled there in September. The roads were in great condition - didn't see one pot hole. Since it is colder in New York City than Reykavik in February I am surprised about the Gray Line comment. Just an observation . Check the roads today for yourself - Iceland is tech current so maybe they have daily traffic and road videos . Have a great trip. We loved Iceland
