Dear Rob, we recently had a relaunch of our second floor, the "SONOTOPIA" floor, which gives insight into sound phenomena and offers activities on sound experiences. The highlight there is a Virtual Reality Lab where visitors can create their own sound creature (a CLONG) and set it free in the so called SONOTOPIA UNIVERSE. As far as we can see so far, that is a new favorite with our teenager visitors. But also the other interactive installations such as The Waltz Dice Game and The Virtual Conductor might be of interest to your son. A special hint - you might want to visit the museum "off peak" after 8 p.m. and take advantage of our reduced night ticket. In any way, have a great trip to Vienna! Regina (PR Haus der Musik)
