Turuvekere is a panchayat town and Taluk in Tumakuru district in the Indian state of Karnataka. Turuvekere is located at 13°10′N 76°40′E / 13.16°N 76.67°E, about 12 km, South of the Banasandra railway station. It has an average elevation of 794 metres.
