I am sure the rescued animals are happy this facility exists but I would call this a tourist trap. Not much interest and looks in disrepair all around. Part of our tour so we went with it but couldn… Full review by Isabelle S

Enthusiastic, informed staff who clearly care about the animals make this visit well worthwhile. Getting to see Tasmanian Devils, Echidnas and Wombats close up (definitely worth doing one of the free… Full review by SianOnTour

Hi, may I know when would be the best time to visit the sanctuary whereby the animals are most active? Morning afternoon or evening? Before lunch times
A:
We got there at 5 pm, fed the kangaroos and then had the behind the scenes nighttime visit. They were all ready to eat ...the nocturnal ones we fed later in the tour.
Q:
How much time should I allocate for this visit?
A:
At least 2/3 hours
Q:
What service did you use to get there? Did you have enough time there?
A:
I drove with friends - it is a fair distance out of town and so you need private transport. I am not sure about bus transfers or tours - 2 hours is a good time to spend.
