This is a great park where you possibly see Prong Horn Antelope, coyote, deer and buffalo. And I imagine other animals. I will tell you the ride into the park can be smelly from the great salt lake. … Full review by Connie E

Is it clean enough for one to swim, and does one actually float in the Great Salt Lake? How much time would you recommend for one to spend at Antelope Island State Park? Thanks!

I would also not swim in the lake, the muddy walk, smell and worst of all the flies will make you not want to go for a swim. We went on a few short hikes which were nice but the park was just a nice drive for us. We spent probably two hours there which was plenty.
