Saw this beautiful waterfall by helicopter and absolutely loved it. Such a striking waterfall and well worth visiting however way you go. Full review by Xanerin

Did this as a day trip from Tauranga. Picked up the permit from the information centre at Kawerau. Quite a long, dusty drive along the gravel road but well worth a visit. Full review by HelenaT975

It's a long drive in on gravel roads, and you need a permit ($10.00 from the Kawerau I-Site) - and yes, security patrol the forest so make sure you have one.... and the falls are beautiful. Gushing … Full review by cdn-npl
