Paray-le-Monial is a commune in the Saône-et-Loire department in the region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté in eastern France. Since 2004, Paray-le-Monial has been part of the Charolais-Brionnais region. It is nicknamed the "city of the Sacred Heart" and its inhabitants are called Parodiens and Parodiennes.
