Tearing out exhibits from the 1800's created a huge hollow building with meaningless items to replace it. I still like the prehistoric exhibit but the rest was a hodge hodge of unconnected displays.… Full review by Virginia M

Interesting museum covering the prehistory and geology of BC, plus some more modern stuff too. At the time of our visit there was a special exhibition on Stonehenge. I've visited the henge many time… Full review by Patric D

It may not be for your 3 year old but it really depends on their interests. There are several exhibits of wildlife, indigenous people, early history, etc. Egypt was the subject of the special exhibit last fall. Their current special exhibit is of the Mayan civilization. If they enjoy history, art, wildlife & such, they may enjoy it or parts of it.

Is there a restaurant?

There were food trucks parked outside when we were there.

Are you able to rent wheelchairs there like Bouchard Gardens?
A:
Wheelchairs are available for use within the museum. Its first come first serve basis at the Coat Check area.

I know there are no ramps at the museum but could I still use a stroller to go through the museum?
A:
Absolutely! They have an elevator to get between floors and once you're on a floor, there are no more obstacles to get over.
