Love everything about Plaza de España. Very nice to see and also to look at all the intricate details. During the day it is pretty and during the night it is also very pretty. Full review by anabdulla

Great monument that lives up to all the hype and pictures. When we went fortunately although it was hot and sunny, the crowds were not large and there were very few hawkers, no beggars and no amateur… Full review by ColinandEleanor

There is a nearby garden which would be suitable, ball games would not be allowed the square.

i am afraid i did not see the violinist when we were there.

Is it free to enter?
A:
Yes the building is actually government offices and you cant go inside. There is a small military museum that you can enter that is great and free

It varied everyday when I was there - think it’s crowd dependant
