It is very kid friendly! It was originally set up as a handicapped and non-handicapped park with access to the various play/swing/fountain spray areas and bathrooms for all kids. The artificial grass is laid over a foam matting base so there is virtually no hard surfaces should kids fall. And there are many covered and shady areas for us adults. The area is completely fenced in and at night has cameras that cover the park. There is also a pet area as well, and plenty of regular and handicapped parking. The only problem that I have taking my grandkids there is that there are so many things that they can push and swing on and ride and climb and slide that whatever adult goes with them, you have to be active just to keep up!
