Just as the previous two responses indicated : there is increased high demand during the Whale Shark time (like in May) and those winter months see many tourists in the area. However, there are something like 11 tour companies so you should be able to book close to the time you are visiting this special magnificent Ningaloo Reef area.

They divided the guests into 2 groups, which took turns in the water. We were in the water about 5 times over the course of the day, for a total of 55 minutes with the sharks. This provided tons of excellent viewing time and we were more than satisfied. My impression was that we had a good day, but with the spotter plane I think most people see sharks. We also saw humpbacks and orcas. You might see a manta on this trip but purely by chance, there are other places/tours where you see them.

Hi Crocky, yes there is a repeat voucher offered if by some chance we don't swim with Whale Sharks. We will get you on the next available day or give you a repeat voucher valid for 2 years. We are super keen to have you swim with these amazing creature so will do everything possible to ensure that happens now or in the future.
