MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE NATIONAL PARK!! The first stop is not the national park but they look official. It is a scam and you end up walking 2 miles down a driveway full of mud and horse crap and you… Full review by Leif E

Hi, are the horses well cared for? I am an experienced rider but I am always hesitant about horse tours. Do they limit the horses to one ride a day? Do they give horses water on breaks? Sounds like a strenuous ride for horses if most people find it difficult.

We rode with a group of 12 people and 2 guides. The horses were in good shape and each rider was fit to a horse by the persons size and ability. I don’t think they were given water on the breaks but they did say the horses were given 2 days rest between rides. I believed that to be true due to the amount of horses in their stable. It seemed to be a very professional operation.
Q:
What time does the office open? And do you have to book in advance or can you just show up and pay for entrance?
A:
To enter the WaterFalls, the ticket sale is from 7:00 a.m. at 2:00 p.m. and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. You do not need a reservation, the price is $ 10 dollars for foreigners.
Q:
Where can my family stay if we want to visit the falls and a good beach?
A:
Dominical/Uvita area. Lots of AirBNBs for rent.
Q:
Hi there. What company did you use for the truck ride to the falls?
A:
We just used the Nauyaca falls website and paid at the welcome center.
Q:
What is the average water temperature in February?
A:
Our group was made up of 4 60+year olds. We walked, got sweaty and went swimming. After a 5 sec shock it was GREAT!! We all enjoyed it!
