Lublin has quite a few hotels that are very nice and reasonably priced. I stayed at Hotel Vanilla - located right outside the old town. Very cool. Check it out.

You can catch the 156 to Felin or 23 to Felin right outside of Old Town. It stops right at Majdanek. Here is a link to the bus schedule. I live right next door to the camp (transplanted native NYer with zero Polish skills). If you are going to the camp, set aside several hours and bring good walking shoes. Google map where you would catch the bus. The address is Królewska 8, Lublin. As posted above, it across the street from the Kathedra parking lot. Return trip, same bus and get off at Brama Krakowska.
