Littlesea Holiday Park in Weymouth, Dorset is a hidden gem on the Fleet Lagoon, a unique expanse of water which provides a wonderful backdrop to the park. Facilities include indoor and outdoor pools, a marvellous Mash and Barrel restaurant, and a handy Papa John’s pizza. As well as suiting those wanting a quiet base to walk from, it would also suit those wanting to be entertained by a full programme of shows and activities. A new climbing wall recently joined the Tank off-roaders, and in spring 2023, subject to final plans, Tube Slides will be on offer too. Weymouth seafront is just two miles away, easily accessed via car and has glorious sands, a historic harbour and all the seaside staples you’d expect.
Can you walk to the beach? Are they nearby and sandy. Have young children so pebbles wouldn’t be the best

You’re best bet is to take the bus (which comes right into the park opposite the entertainment venue) into Weymouth town centre to get to the large seafront selection of Weymouth beach which is beautifully sandy but there is also the option of a pebble beach further toward Lodmoor country park which we found over the years our toddlers enjoy just as much as the sand and I enjoy not having to clear the sand out of everything!
