Bad roads. Extreme car noises all night. Fence falling down and kids jump over it, staff very friendly but highly over priced for this 'no sleep' van site. We were backed onto main road/drag strip . … Full review by holdenx6

Fab campsite on the lake. we had our own ensuite toilet which was luxurious at that point was wet were near finished our east coast trip. there is a swimming pool in the campsite and it is very close… Full review by AineNi52

It may sound bad but do not believe what people write. Yes there may be a lot of concrete but when it rains it pours ( wet season) so you do not get bogged, do not walk in mud. …

It may sound bad but do not believe what people write. Yes there may be a lot of concrete but when it rains it pours ( wet season) so you do not get bogged, do not walk in mud. Every site is ensuited, No long walk to the amenities. Short walk to Castletown shopping centre hop on a bus there travel all over Townsville. Don't want to cook we have eateries right out the front, Sizzlers, Subway, Sunshine Kebabs, Red Rooster, Chinese Tea House, Pizza Hut & the Mecure right next door has a licenced restaurant open to the public.
