This garden is a pleasant place, even in late November. There was a large heron, peacock, and large koi fish. Toilets nearby. Small bridge to walk over. This garden is not far from Ukrainian stat… Full review by valeriem446

Peaceful, calming and beautifully maintained. A lovely walk around the pond with the extra bonus of seeing the resident grey herons and a peacock. Would definitely recommend. Full review by Iloveeatingout59

How busy would the park possibly be at around 7pm on a Saturday mid July? I’m planning on doing a photo shoot here while I’m in London for a event the same day and worried that it will be to busy to do what I’m envisioning

You are not allowed to go onto any of the grass areas (they are all roped off), however there are several park benches dotted around where you can stop & have something to eat. If you were looking to spread out a picnic blanket, then somewhere else within Holland Park would be better suited for this, as the Kyoto garden is only small.
