If you are an experienced SUP paddler, then you could definitely attempt it, BUT there is extremely sharp coral along the way that might change your mind if you’re one to fall off your board. You will want to anchor in at the sandbar. I prefer the kayak for this trek. The sandbar is extremely reflective so reapply your sunblock excessively!! Be sure to note a standout location marker at your departure for easier trekking on your return trip. Have fun.

Yes - It is on the East Side of Oahu, at the end of the H3 and Pali and Likelike Highways. It has a beautiful beach and bay. Don't know about accommodation, but its very much a "local" city. Great food from the Windward Mall... Drop by Kanile'a 'Ukulele in the downtown area for a personal and free tour of their ukulele building facility and meet some really great locals.
