Questions & answers

Q:
How much time should we a lot to visit Green Gables?
A:
I agree with those who said 1-2 hours really depends how big a fan you are. Gives you ample time to visit all the building, see Anne and do the walks.
Q:
Can people visit and tour in January?
A:
I am sure it is available but would be mighty cold at that time of year. Better check with PEI Tourism Office.

We were there in mid October. The price you quoted seems to be about what we paid. If you’re not a fan and short on time, I would skip it. The car ride from Charlottetown was very scenic. The view from the house was scenic, but no better than other areas of the island. The house is typical of a house from that era and the property was touristy. There isn’t much to see and do in the area. The play wasn’t in session, when we were there. We would have liked to have seen it. Have a good time on the Island. We thouroughly enjoyed our six day stay!
Q:
Is the house pet friendly? Is Lovers Lane, etc., pet friendly?
A:
I would say 'No" to have a dog in the house or on the grounds.

Hi ...I am wondering if I need to book an actual tour or we can just show up on the day that works for us? What are ticket prices for self guided?
A:
It is a self guided tour. Tickets are not free but were free to youth in 2017/18. I think an adult ticket is $8.00. Just show up when you want.
