I will be staying at Reykjavik but I am hoping to visit this area (Akureyki) too. Should I do a day trip? Is this a nice place to visit? Is this place included in the golden circle bus trip?

Q:

A:

Q:
How far of a drive is the falls from Akureyri? We are only there for 8 hours on cruise ship.
A:
For us it only took about 30 minutes as well. Definitely see Godafoss, for it was our favorite waterfall in all of Iceland!
