Not worth it. There's a toll road (20 EUR) to the cable car station. If you're going up to the top with the cable cars they must validate your road ticket, otherwise you'll have to pay when exiting… Full review by I5265YA

We had the Dachstein Sommercard via our hotel, so the entire thing was for free gor us. If you don't have this card, it's rather pricey. For us it was a nice little addition. We went up, enjoyed the … Full review by RamonA1866

The Skywalk is pretty scary! My adult sister and my niece freak out. It gets crowded as well (especially in July) so keeping an eye on here will be challenging. Your call and you should be aware if she has a head for high places. The cable car ride up should alert you. I would not do it so perhaps take it in turns to go on the skywalk while the other minds the child?

Hi The panorama gondola up to Glacier World closes for maintenance on the 1st of May, so you will be able to use it on your dates. Not sure how you are getting there, but you can catch a bus from Schladming (train station in town) or if driving, you go up to the base station by way of a toll road. If you use the Gondola, you can have the toll road ticket validated and therefore there will be no fee. The cost is 39 euros to use the gondola up and down with kids from just under 20 euros. There is a small family discount. The suspension bridge and stairway to nothingness are free before May 1st! The problem is April is not a good time just for sightseeing as it can be misty, will be very cold and depending on what the weather is like, some pf the attractions up there could be closed for safety reasons. Dress like you are going skiing! But good luck, I hope you all have a great time. Regards
