Not possible. You can view it from ground level and read the story from a nearby display however there is no possible way to climb it. Ancient Rome is well below present day ground level so you look down at the foundation but you view the column about a third of the way up. Across the road you can look down at the column if you visit the Vittorio Emmanuel Monument
