Historically it is believed these were put there to frighten away rats and mice but it also true that most the statues were also thought to bestow good luck and good health on people. A brilliant way to see york. found them all and seen some great hidden sites. would recommend takes an hour or a bit if like us you end up in a few shops along the way... Full review by John M

Had seen this before our trip. Did find a map to help and this is perfect for kids and cat lovers to do. Didn’t get them all but they are a good way of mating you look up to see the beautiful build… Full review by Fas02
