This is a lovely green space near the centre of Brisbane- well kept and lush. We enjoyed a walk in the sunshine. The boardwalk is nice. Full review by wombatdavid

Great gardens, even in the winter when not a lot is blooming! Must do for families and those looking to get away from huge city hustle and bustle for a couple hours. Full review by emmah0218

This is another area well worth a visit when visiting Brisbane, we had a great time simply wandering about seeing the gardens. It is easy to get to with the Roma Street train station only a few yards… Full review by Bill S

Hi dogs are allowed at Roma Parklands on a leash. While I was there a group of Great Danes were walking through about 20 of them and then they were at the cafe with there owners relaxing. As for the trains I have never seen dogs on trains in Australia only guide dogs.

Yes, free. Parking is limited and you have to pay. You can jump on the train and get off at Roma Street station then you have a short walk to the Parklands. Cafe is expensive and not worth it, so take your own....cheaper and nicer to have your own picnic.
