This engine is one of only 8 surviving in the world. It was retired in 1958 and is in Holiday Park . It is free and very cool to see. Full review by angeleyes27

If you mean Big Boy 4004, it is not at the museum. The museum is in the downtown depot on 15th Street and the Big Boy engine is in Holliday Park at 17th and Morrie. The museum hours …

Apparently there are travel trips as part of the 150th anniversary of the golden spike but from what I see they are sold out. Don't know if there will be more.

The one in holiday park off business route 80 is free and has no closing time. The other one at the rail museum I cannot speak for its hours or cost. Hope this helps
