Aurora is a town in Beaufort County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 520 at the 2010 Census. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.0 square mile, of which 0.93 square miles is land and 0.12 square miles, or 9.60%, is water.
