What a beautiful place. The different rock formations and arches were something to behold. It was a beautiful day for seeing this. Full review by randybL4556TF

Yes, the roads are well marked with names of attractions and junctions with side roads to attractions. However, as is common in national parks, I do not remember seeing highway route number signs in the park. Please use the park map and or a gps navigation system to track where you are and where you wish to go. I found the roads to be very well marked as they are in Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks where I work but visitors often complain because they don’t take the junction signs at their face value and as very accurate and all the signage needed.

I don’t know how far you like to hike but you picked a good time of the year. The last two April’s I enjoyed hiking in Colorado national monument, Canyonlands, arches, natural bridges, Zion and Bryce Canyon. I’ve never been to capitol reef so I don’t know to refer it to you. But two other spots I’ve never been to but are on my list are rainbow bridge and the wave rock on BLM land east of Kanab Utah, requires a permit via lottery. Some of the more challenging destinations in Zion also need a permit and are quite popular even in April. But there are many hikes short and long in this remarkable region. For just a sampling, you need a week! Ten days should give you more leisure. Please study up on desert preparedness and on the different options in each park. Best wishes!
