As May is out of season you will find it easier to get around the Park. Paul Kruger gate is generally a popular entrance gate as it is closest to Skukuza camp, the largest in the Park and the busiest. Malelane gate in the south is also a popular gate due to access from the N4 freeway (from Nelspruit). Much will depend on what your preferences are. The north of the Park is always quieter and Phalaborwa gate is a very handy place to enter if you would like to travel up towards Shingwedzi. I can't help you with regard to the drivers as I self-drive but I am sure others will comment on this here. Generally all the staff I have met in the Park are friendly and helpful so I doubt that you will experience any problems there. Enjoy and who knows we may even bump into one another as I will be going in May too, starting at Berg en Dal then to Pretoriouskop and onto Mopani and Shingwedzi. Have fun!
